Eastbourne, Roses and that Crane...
19/8/2016. I was thinking just yesterday how extraordinary memory can be, I mean, when you hear from somebody from the past, everything comes together. A person can pop up from out of the blue, and dig up all sorts of memories with them. I had a lapsang souchong, and a chocolate muffin. That crane is still out the window.
7.30pm. Making baba ganoush. It does not cease to amaze me how creamy it gets after adding that final ingredient - tahini.
Grange Garden Reflections
[entry written: 20/12/2014] Sitting in Grange Garden with a headache. Trying to write about myself. Irritated by pollen, and things not getting done.
Eastbourne Waitrose, set up desk
[entry written back in 2015] I don't like dating. Good coffee, free with the shopping. Communication - tapestry of threads. Making a book, with pictures and words. How could I lose brain cells after only 2 dates, and on the Internet! How could I be fooled by his lines! How can there exist so many contradictions? Gaining fluency in maths - how long could it take? Eyes move from side to side when I'm trapped.

Roses, heart in the sky last night...
15/8/2016. Yet another beautiful day. Bought roses, flat peaches, and some soda water to get through the heat. Got ahead of myself at the shops, and started packing before I'd paid. I often wonder how one can keep a diary that is capable of organising itself. I haven't found anything that has the right flow yet. The trouble is, you've still got to organise something, and I haven't come across an app that looks that nice. Last night, the final plane etched a heart in the sky, which reminded me of certain projects I've neglected.
